Kerry, Edwards May Not Vote on Gay Marriage

That ranks up there with “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” in the pantheon of stupid weaselly ways of having both sides of an issue. If you think gays can have all the rights of married couples, you think gays should be allowed to marry. Otherwise, it’s just semantics.
But, who has ever seen a politician with a spine?

I’ve always thought the notion of a civil union is just a cheap cop-out. It’s just politicians trying to save their butts at election time by not pissing off a huge percentage of voters.
