Hypothetically, say you build a web page as a quick one-off. When you look at it and test it every which way, it works just fine. When others look at it, many of them tell you it doesn’t work completely and even tell you specifically what is broken and why.
Do you:
a. Believe that 5 different people getting the same result are a statistically valid sample and change your page to be bulletproof, or
b. Assume that since you can see it, everyone else is a fucking moron and begin to insult them for trying to help you fix your page.
Just thinking. Hypothetically.

Are hypothetical people hypothetically picking on your hypothetical website again Gare? If hypothetically so, they’re hypothetical morons, because, hypothetically, it works just hypothetically fine.
But then again, if someone were to hypothetically pay attention, and follow a hypothetical link to a hypothetical website, then, hypothetically, that web site is a chunk of hypothetical broken crap, and hypothetically needs to be fixed.
I’m generally very careful to test my site updates, and blog posts, to ensure they work on any browser and with any user. However, if several people were to tell me that my links were inop or my images didn’t load, I’d go ahead and believe them.
That would tend to make more sense. But then, not everyone has enough sense.
