Focus on the Family Attacks Spongebob Squarepants
Um, he’s a sponge. He doesn’t even have any genitalia. Why is the Far Right so obsessed with sex anyway? Must be some frigid women over there.
Anything that Dr. Dobson is afraid of is something I’ll support wholeheartedly.

You know, I’m quite thoroughly tired of these fanatical Far Righters “outing” cartoon characters. I seem to remember an article not too long ago, about some group similar to Focus trying to out Bert and Ernie. And of course we all remember the Tinky Winky Incident mentioned in this article. Can’t the religious wingnuts leave cartoons alone? Why don’t they go after Viagra/Enzyte ads instead?
Focus is, always HAS been, always WILL be INSANELY INTOLERANT!

Dobson speaks for good? Dobson speaks for intolerance and bigotry, hiding behind piety. Spongebob is not gay, and fixating on these things just makes the fundamentalists look like idiots.
The entire We Are Family thing is focused on tolerance, primarily for racial differences. No six year-old understands what “gay” means until some fundie tells him to not be it.
How can Spongebob be gay? He is actively pursuing a healthy relationship with Sandy? If you check out the new valentine paperback at Barnes and Noble might get the picture Dr D. Although you might now have ammunition for an interracial..errr…interspecies argument!

It’s really quite frightening that people such as actually believe that the garbage spewed out by people like James Dobson is “good for us”. At this point, I am afraid we are turning into a fascist nation thanks to our political/religious leaders.
MIGHT I SUGGEST YOU GO TO http://WWW.FAMILY.ORG AND READ MATERIAL DIRECTLY FROM DR. DOBSON, BEFORE YOU MAKE JUDGEMENTS.
Maybe you could use a shift key before you make stupid comments (all caps is considered to be shouting, not to mention an indication of low intelligence and lack of typing ability). Hey Esther, Dobson doesn’t speak for MY family’s good…I like Spongebob, in fact, I encourage him. The little yellow sponge isn’t hurting anyone and he’s often rather funny.
And as for reading any of the claptrap written by Dobson, the only reason sane and rational people WOULD read that is for a good laugh. Focus on the Family needs to focus LESS on everyone else’s families and just go home.
