Apparently the Taliban are immortal, since some of that ousted and thoroughly destroyed regime are out there killing Italian tourists in Afghanistan. But I’m sure it’s an error since we all know that we completely destroyed that organization.

Hmmm, doesn’t seem terribly efficient on our part. Either that, or those Taliban are a pretty lively bunch of walking dead.
Oh, but, you know, it was more important to take out Iraq over a SUSPICION of W.O.M.D than to finish cleaning up a bunch of known mass murderers. Those mass murderers, we’ll get them another time. Let them have some fun killing more people while we settle Saddam.
