Son: Could you super glue this back together?
Dad: No.
S: But I want it back together.
D: Did I tell you that if you bashed your toys together they would break?
S: Yes.
D: Did you bash your toys together after I told you not to?
S: Yes.
D: Did they break?
S: Yes.
D: There ya go.
